Choose from our one honeymoon suite, two executive suites, a junior suite and eight elegantly furnished deluxe rooms. All rooms have their own private veranda and direct access to the garden. Most rooms offer sweeping views of the surrounding grasslands and the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, ensuring you wake up to morning mists rolling in over the dam or to blood-orange glints of the early sun on the imposing cliff faces.

Decorated with bespoke pieces of original furniture and soft-to-the-touch luxury bedding, the heated rooms offer tasteful extravagance, comfort and style. All rooms are en-suite, offering a shower, a shower over bath or, in the executive suites, both a separate shower and bath. Exquisite products from Cape Town’s Charlotte Rhys ensure you unwind from head to toe.

The hotel is equipped with a large capacity generator to run all facilities during power outages and has its own borehole to supplement the municipal water in times of short-supply.

The restaurant at Moorcroft Manor is a landmark in the Southern Drakensberg. With a menu created by Jason Black, it offers a seasonal selection of wholesome, locally sourced ingredients prepared with care. Open from breakfast, and exuding country hospitality, the restaurant is popular with hotel guests, the area’s residents and day-travelers alike.

Breakfast for in-house guests: Served daily between 7.30am – 9.30am

Open daily: Between 7.30am – 21.00pm | Last orders taken at 20.30pm

Bar: The last round is called at 22.00pm
